Quality Assurance Manager

• Compensation: ₹50,000 to ₹100,000 per month (based on experience and qualifications)

• Qualification: BSc/MSc in Fisheries, Microbiology, Zoology, Veterinary, or Chemistry

Responsibilities: Quality Assurance and Compliance

• Develop and implement QA policies, standards, protocols, procedures, and SOPs in alignment with regulatory and food safety requirements, including HACCP.
• Ensure compliance with MSC chain of custody SOPs and standards.
• Manage raw material sampling and testing protocols as per statutory and certification requirements.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and food safety regulations across all operations.

Audits and Inspections

• Schedule and facilitate audits for food safety, GMP, security, MSC chain of custody, labor, and social compliance.
• Monitor and improve factory hygiene and pest control systems to meet audit standards.

Product Development and Specifications

• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop new product specifications.
• Oversee the installation, implementation, and training for electronic monitoring and traceability systems.

Incident Management and Continuous Improvement

• Manage quality incidents, internal holds, and exceptional releases.
• Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to enhance quality and safety processes.

Budget and Operations Management

• Manage department operations budget and expenditures effectively.
• Ensure efficient resource allocation to meet quality and safety objectives.

General Expectations of Skills and Past Experience:

• Proven experience as a QA Manager or similar role in the food processing industry.
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards and regulations, including HACCP and GMP.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Problem-solving and strategic planning capabilities.
• Certification in food safety or quality management (e.g., HACCP, ISO 22000) is a plus.
