Quality Assurance Officer

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelors or Master’s degree in Fisheries, Food Technology, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Veterinary, Zoology, Chemistry, or a related field. Responsibilities:

Quality Monitoring and Product Testing

• Conduct regular inspections of the production line to ensure adherence to company and regulatory quality standards.
• Perform analytical and organoleptic assessments of seafood products to confirm they meet specified criteria.

Documentation and Compliance

• Maintain detailed records of inspections, test results, and any deviations from quality standards.
• Ensure all processes comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), sanitation protocols, HACCP, and food safety certifications.

Equipment and Process Management

• Regularly check and calibrate testing equipment to maintain accuracy.
• Collaborate with production staff to communicate quality issues and implement corrective actions.

Continuous Improvement and Audits

• Participate in quality audits and contribute to the development of improved quality control procedures.
• Conduct root cause analysis and guide Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) to address quality issues.
