Reports To: Regional Sales Manager / Business Unit Head


Job Summary:

The Hospital Manager / Key Account Manager (KAM) will be responsible for managing relationships with hospitals, healthcare institutions, and key stakeholders to drive sales, market share, and brand presence for pharmaceutical products. This role involves strategic account management, business development, and ensuring effective collaboration between the company and healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities:

Account Management & Business Development:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key hospital stakeholders, including procurement teams, hospital administrators, and doctors.
  • Identify business opportunities within hospitals and institutional sales channels to drive revenue growth.
  • Ensure smooth onboarding and long-term engagement with hospital accounts.

Sales & Market Penetration:

  • Achieve sales targets by promoting pharmaceutical products to hospitals and key healthcare providers.
  • Implement strategic plans to enhance market share within assigned hospitals and institutions.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and agreements with hospital procurement departments.

Stakeholder Engagement & Customer Relationship Management:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for hospitals, ensuring seamless coordination between the company and healthcare institutions.
  • Organize CME (Continuing Medical Education) programs, hospital meetings, and awareness campaigns for healthcare professionals.
  • Address queries and concerns from hospital administrators and medical staff regarding product efficacy, pricing, and availability.

Compliance & Reporting:

  • Ensure adherence to regulatory, ethical, and compliance guidelines while engaging with healthcare institutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales performance, hospital engagements, and key account activities.
  • Provide market insights, competitor analysis, and feedback to the management team.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3-7 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, hospital management, or key account management.
  • Strong relationship management and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Knowledge of hospital procurement processes and pharmaceutical regulations.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and data-driven sales strategies.
