Assistant Manager Quality

Role & responsibilities :

• Quality Assurance and Testing:
• Conduct laboratory testing to ensure product quality and compliance with food safety standards.
• Perform RM (Raw Material) and PM (Packaging Material) quality testing to meet set specifications.
• Analyze product yield and monitor consistency in production batches.
• Process Control and Documentation:
• Maintain and streamline the production process flow to optimize efficiency.
• Oversee documentation and record control to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Audits and Compliance:
• Prepare and manage internal and external audits, including FSSAI, ISO, and other certifications.
• Ensure adherence to food safety, hygiene, and industry best practices.
• Team Management and Development:
• Lead, train, and develop a team of quality professionals to achieve organizational goals.
• Conduct regular training sessions on quality standards and process improvements.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement corrective actions to enhance product quality.
• Ensure compliance with updated regulatory and industry standards.

Preferred candidate profile

• 8-10 years of experience in quality, preferably in the food manufacturing (Bread & Bakery).

Strong communication, creativity, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

• Strong knowledge of FSSAI, ISO, and other quality standards applicable to the food industry.
• Expertise in laboratory testing, data analysis, and reporting.
• Proficiency in managing internal and external audits.
• Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
