Internal Auditor

Role & responsibilities

Audit Planning:

• Prepare and execute an internal audit plan in coordination with the IMS Coordinator and Sr. Manager (Corporate) - Audits & Development.
• Ensure that every aspect of the IMS is audited regularly, including subcontractors and service providers, with planned audits occurring every six months or as needed.

Audit Execution:

• Use the internal audit checklist, but not limit the audit process to it, to evaluate compliance against ISO standards and NBTC's policies and procedures.
• Conduct audits that ensure alignment with corporate IMS policies, management system procedures, legal requirements, and safe work practices

Audit Findings and Reporting:

• Document audit findings, classifying them into non-conformances, observations, and areas for improvement.
• Prepare detailed Internal Audit Reports, including evidence of non-conformities and recommendations for corrective actions.

Corrective Actions & Follow-up:

• Collaborate with auditees to develop corrective actions to address NCs and ensure the effectiveness of these actions.

Continuous Improvement:

• Identify system inefficiencies and suggest improvements to ensure the continuous enhancement of NBTC's IMS.

Training and Development:

• Participate in internal auditor training programs and maintain records of training to ensure ongoing competency.

Preferred candidate profile

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
• Bachelors degree in engineering, Business Administration, or related field
• ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018 Lead Auditor certification preferred
