Role : Sr.Site Reliability Ops Engineer.
Shift : 1 PM - 10 PM IST (including 1hr in between for lunch & AOB).
Location : Bangalore-Bellandur.
Mode : Work From Office5 days per week (Mon - Fri).
Key Skills :
- Systems administration experience (Windows and/or Linux).
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, or related containerization software.
- Prior application support experience.
Key Responsibilities :
- Linux System Admin + Shell scripting + patching + storage + troubleshooting.
- Windows System Admin + PowerShell scripting + patching + troubleshooting.
- Docker, Kubernetes basics + Troubleshooting.
- Monitoring & Observability Admin/Maintenance + Resolving alerts + Implementation + troubleshooting.
- AWS Cloud Basic Services + cli + troubleshooting + onprem migration to aws cloud.
- Azure Cloud Basic Services + cli + troubleshooting.
- ITIL & ITSM (Using ServiceNow, JIRA, Agile, Scrum, etc) + Experience in SLAs + Incident Managements.
- Source Code Management, Configuration & Version Management.
- CI/CD , Automation using Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, Cloud Formation, Code Build, Chef, Puppet, AWS CDK, Python, Shell script, PowerShell, Typescript, etc.
- Database, SQL queries Basics + Troubleshooting.
- Networking & Security Basics.
- Troubleshoot application issues.
- Supporting Service Requests and Incident response requirements of multiple global applications, which run within customer's datacenters and in the cloud.
- Working with Development teams to assist with application releases or troubleshoot issues/bugs.
- Supporting development teams and working with them to resolve issues within the non-prod environments.
- Create and maintain documentation on run books and environment configurations.
- Provide support to development teams on monitoring, scalability, and reliability.
- Supporting Service Requests and Incident response requirements of multiple global applications, which run within customer's datacenters and in the cloud.
- Supporting development teams and working with them to resolve issues within the non-prod environments.
- Maintenance and support of global applications which run on Microsoft Windows and CentOS Linux.
- Create and maintain documentation on run books and environment configurations.
- Provide support to development teams on monitoring, scalability, and reliability.
Required Experience/Skills :
- Systems administration experience (Windows or Linux).
- Prior application support experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Cross functional collaboration skills and relationship building skills are a must.
- In-depth knowledge of scripting- is required; you will be managing infrastructure and applications in 10 different datacenters around the world.
- Experience with GitHub Cloud.
- Experience with Jenkins, Puppet and Ansible is desirable.
- Cloud experience (AWS or Azure) is a plus.
- Signalfx, ELK stack or- other monitor- tools experience are a plus.
