System Administrator - Windows & Linux OS (5-9 yrs)

Job Description :

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented System Administrator to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing and maintaining both Windows and Linux operating systems, along with expertise in virtualization technologies and network management. This role is critical in ensuring the stability, security, and performance of our IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities :

1) Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems - Installing, configuring, and upgrading servers and systems. Expertise in AD, LDAP

2) Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).

3) Knowledge of the OSI model, switching and internet routing technologies

4) Knowledge of network monitoring concepts and management tools.

5) Good to have Industry certifications such as MCSE, RHCE, or CCNA

6) Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash)

Qualifications :

1) Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

2) 5 to 8 years of experience in system administration, with a focus on Windows and Linux environments.

3) Strong understanding of virtualization technologies and network management.

4) Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

5) Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
