System Administrator/DevOps Engineer - Linux OS (3-8 yrs)

We are seeking a skilled System Administrator/DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in Linux system administration, cloud platforms, and networking, along with a strong ability to write and maintain automation scripts.

Key Responsibilities :

- Manage and maintain Linux-based infrastructure and systems.

- Design, implement, and maintain containerized applications using Docker.

- Manage Kubernetes clusters and orchestrate containerized applications.

- Deploy and manage cloud infrastructure on Azure and GCP platforms.

- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines.

- Configure and troubleshoot network security, services, and connectivity.

- Develop and maintain shell scripts or Python scripts for automation.

- Manage email infrastructure, including Postfix configuration.

- Monitor system performance and implement improvements.

- Configure, optimize, and maintain MySQL/MariaDB/MongoDB databases for WordPress sites, ensuring efficient queries, maintenance, and backups.

- Regularly monitor and analyze server logs to identify security threats, performance bottlenecks, or errors.

- Set up and maintain CDN and DDoS protection, configure DNS settings, and manage firewall rules.

Required Qualifications:

- Linux System Administration : Strong hands-on experience.

- Containerization and Orchestration : Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes.

- Cloud Platforms : Experience with Azure and/or GCP.

- Programming/Scripting : Working knowledge of shell scripting or Python.

- Networking : Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols.

- CI/CD : Experience with tools and methodologies.

- Web Development Stack : Knowledge of common Linux software, including databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and web servers (Nginx).

- Familiarity with DevOps tools and automation.

- Knowledge of security vulnerabilities, cyber-attacks, and their solutions.

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

Technical Skills :

- Containerization : Docker, Docker Compose.

- Orchestration : Kubernetes, Helm.

- Databases : MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB.

- CI/CD : Jenkins, GitHub, Argo (any).

- Operating Systems : Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu, or similar).

- Cloud Platforms : Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

- Infrastructure as Code : Terraform, Ansible.

- Networking : TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Load Balancing.

- Programming/Scripting : Shell scripting, Python.

- Email Services : Postfix, SMTP, Email Security (Good to have).

- Monitoring & Logging : ELK Stack.
