Excitel - Senior Infrastructure Engineer - System Administration (7-10 yrs)

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and maintain critical infrastructure components, including servers, networks, storage, and virtualization platforms.

- Plan and execute infrastructure upgrades and migrations.

- Participate in the evaluation and selection of new technologies and infrastructure solutions.

- Develop and maintain system documentation.

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is essential.

- Design and implement cloud-based solutions, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.

- Migrate on-premises workloads to cloud environments.

- Optimize cloud resources for cost-effectiveness and performance.

- Manage and maintain server operating systems (Linux/Windows).

- Configure and manage network devices.

- Manage storage systems, including SAN/NAS and cloud storage solutions.

- Implement and maintain system security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and access controls.

- Automate routine tasks using scripting languages.

- Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code solutions using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet.

- Diagnose and troubleshoot system performance issues, network outages, and security breaches.

- Provide technical support to end-users and other IT teams.

Qualifications :

Experience : 7-10 years of experience in infrastructure engineering and systems administration.

Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Technical Skills :

- Strong experience with Linux/Unix operating systems.

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is mandatory.

- Experience with virtualization technologies

- Strong networking knowledge.

- Experience with scripting languages.

- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools.

- Experience with monitoring and logging tools.
