Business Analyst / Product Specialist (Fintech/Payments Only)

Profile summary:

The Product Management Specialist will be part of the products focussed, and customer facing, teams; and would be responsible for supporting the market research, mapping requirements to products roadmaps, and distinguishing between productized features and custom requisites for specific customer/industry. He/she will engage with customers, and the technology/operations teams, to refine/articulate the requirements, and support documentations, for making it easier for the development teams to develop, and for customers to feel assured of the alignments.

Role and Responsibilities:

Market Research & Product research:

• Understand Market requirements, analyze competitive marketplace and stay up-to-date with industry trends and latest updates by NPCI

Developing Strategy:

• Create a road plan for new product research for Technology team for development and implementation

Coordinating with Tech Leads:

• Coordinate with technical/ development team to navigate them for any road blocks regarding tickets or queries and act as an interface between the client and technical team

Client relationship management:

• Build relationships with clients and align meetings frequently to understand road blocks for any prerequisite from clients.
• Engage with marketplace by participating in all events/summits for regular updates and to understand market trends
• Act as a front liner to explain first set up of any product under UAT to client and navigate them through the entire flow
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support addressing customer escalated issues and concerns in a timely manner to ensure high levels of customer experience.

General requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, or equivalent in similar related field, from an institute of repute; & with typically 2+ years of relevant experience. Combination of education and experience, may be considered in lieu.
• Hands-on experience creating wireframes, prototypes, storyboards, user flows, etc.
• Experience of using tools such as Figma, Photoshop, Sketch, Illustrator, InVision, UXPin, Quartz, etc is preferred.
• Understanding of basic front-end languages: HTML5 and CSS3 Javascript.
• Banking/Fintech product knowledge is required (preferably of NPCI products such as UPI, IMPS, BBPS, etc)
• Tech-Savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office and has the ability to maintain the highest level of discretion, diplomacy and confidentiality.
