Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic Category Head to lead and manage private label supply chain operations for the Non-Pharma category. The role requires a strategic mindset, strong analytical capabilities, and effective collaboration across teams.

Key Responsibilities:

* Analyse industry and consumer trends to drive category strategies.

* Devise development plans for product categories and exit strategies for underperforming products.

* Build and maintain vendor relationships to ensure quality and cost optimization.

* Collaborate with marketing and merchandising teams to maximize product visibility and competitive pricing.

* Forecast demand to ensure inventory sustainability and drive revenue growth.

* Manage category budgets effectively.

Job Requirements:

* MBA from a premier institute (IIMs, XLRI, SIBM, SPJIMR).

* 46 years of experience in retail allocation, merchandise planning, or inventory management.

* Proficiency in SQL, MS Excel, and inventory management systems.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.

* Knowledge of retail industry trends and customer behavior.
