Job Description
Quality Control
Role & Responsibilities
- Inspecting and testing materials, equipment, processes, and products to ensure quality specifications are met.
- Reviewing codes, work orders, specifications, and processes to implement quality standards and control systems at the site.
- Continuously improving construction quality and identifying new quality materials for better products by checking shuttering, reinforcement, and concreting.
- Performing root cause analysis for non-conformities, preparing reports, and discussing with relevant teams to resolve issues.
- Ensuring thorough checks of RMC-related activities, including concrete quality (slump, temperature, batch sheet, cubes, etc.).
- Monitoring and analyzing quality performance at the site to ensure construction meets IS standards.
- Conducting plant and external lab visits for witness testing.
Process & Policies
- Collaborate with site teams and departments to improve quality at the site.
- Adhere to quality processes and work continuously to enhance them.
- Responsible for creating quality awareness among all through proper communication.
Documentation
- Maintain all site documentation as per ISO procedures, including checklists, material inspection records, lab reports, cube registers, and rejection records.
- Ensure documentation compliance to avoid ISO penalties.
- Prepare corrective and preventive action reports and other quality-related documents.
Self & Team Development
- Attend company-sponsored training programs, seminars, and technical sessions.
- Engage in self-learning and gain knowledge of other skills.
- Provide training to the team at the site level.
Qualifications
- B.E. Civil / M.E. Civil.
- Preferred Certification: NICMAR, PMP, Certified Civil Quality Controller (CCQC), ISO QMS.
- Experience: 10-15 years post-qualification.
