Qualifications
Inter CA / Final CA with 4-8 years of relevant experience (Real Estate knowledge preferred).
Job Role & Responsibilities
- Bills Payable:
- Check and approve contractor, purchase, utilities, and other bills in ERP.
- Ensure timely approval of bank payments and receipts in ERP.
- Ensure timely BRS and utility payments before the discount due date.
- Vendor GST compliance and correspondence.
- Vendor payment processing and ledger reconciliation.
- Balance confirmation from vendors for audit purposes.
- Approve petty cash expenses in ERP.
- GST Compliance:
- Expertise in GST and updating the team on GST notifications.
- Handle GST applicability in redevelopment and greenfield projects.
- Manage departmental and internal GST audits.
- File GSTR-3B, GSTR-1, and reconcile with GST 2A and annual returns.
- Draft replies to tax authority queries and seek opinions on indirect tax matters.
- TDS Compliance:
- Knowledge of direct tax (TDS) and its applicability to redevelopment projects.
- Check specified disqualified vendors for higher TDS applicability.
- File e-TDS returns, manage certificates, and respond to tax authority queries.
- Other Statutory Compliance:
- Calculate and file PT, PF, and ESIC liabilities and returns.
- Others:
- Knowledge of general accounting procedures, Excel, and accounting software.
- Maintain proper records for statutory audits and confidentiality of organizational information.
- Work in a team and meet deadlines effectively.
