About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Business Development & Account Manager with a strong technical background to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 6+ years of experience in business development and account management within the airlines/aviation industries.
The role demands excellent communication skills, a risk-taking attitude, and a knack for handling international accounts. Candidates with a B.Tech background will be preferred, although this is not mandatory.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development:
o Identify and develop new business opportunities in the IT/TTLH sectors.
o Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients.
o Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base.
o Conduct market research and stay updated with industry trends to identify growth opportunities.
Account Management:
o Manage and nurture relationships with key clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
o Serve as the primary point of contact for client interactions and communications.
o Conduct regular account reviews to assess client satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.
o Handle client escalations and resolve issues in a timely and effective manner.
Technical & International Exposure:
o Leverage technical knowledge to provide insights and solutions tailored to client needs.
o Manage international accounts, understanding and adapting to diverse cultural and business practices.
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless and customized client experiences.
Data Analysis & Reporting:
o Analyses sales and account performance data to inform decision-making and strategy development.
o Prepare detailed reports and presentations for internal and client stakeholders.
o Conduct financial analysis to forecast and track revenue, profit margins, and other key metrics.
Sales & CRM Software:
o Utilize CRM tools like Salesforce, HubSpot, or Zoho CRM to manage sales pipelines and track client interactions.
o Implement email marketing and automation strategies using platforms like Mailchimp, Constant Contact, or SendGrid.
Document & Client Feedback Management:
o Organize and manage client-related documents using Google Workspace, SharePoint, or Dropbox.
o Gather and analyse client feedback using tools like SurveyMonkey, Typeform, or Qualtrics to improve service delivery and client satisfaction.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Proven experience in business development and account management within airlines or aviation industries.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence and persuade.
- Risk-taking ability to drive new business ventures and handle complex client scenarios.
- Technical background with the ability to understand and articulate technical solutions to clients.
- Experience in managing international accounts and understanding global business dynamics.
- Proficiency in data analysis, financial analysis, and reporting.
- Hands-on experience with CRM, email marketing, and document management systems.
- Ability to gather and analyse client feedback to drive continuous improvement.
Educational Qualification:
Preferred: B.Tech in a relevant field.
Mandatory: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related fields.
