Job Description
- Handle large claims and ensure professional standards of client service are met as per compliance / company policies.
- Assist clients mainly with regards to Non-EB claims processes.
- Interact with the insurers on Non-EB claims processing.
- Ensure the development and retention of the existing portfolio.
- Identify new business opportunities for claims consultancy.
- Responsible for manpower planning to enable the claims team to meet the service standard required.
- Build and foster good relationships with Account Directors and Account Executives and other departments.
- Establish and maintain links with the markets, legal profession, etc. to keep abreast of any changes in the legislation and regulation which pertains to insurance claims.
- Responsible for securing the department budget.
- To provide training to the claims executives within the company.
- Improve staff capability by providing relevant trainings.
- Responsible for the performance of all employees within the Claims Department.
- Support development/enhancement of Claims Systems and claims operations.
- Accountable for overall delivery of Claims Department.
- 20 + years of commercial line claims and underwriting experience gained from a loss adjuster / surveyor / underwriter / insurance company.
- Experience in people management required.
- Leadership skill traits (elected leader in community, school & college). Background of having leadership role.
- Good networking skills and relationship management skills.
- Strong analytical, detail-minded and solution oriented skills.
- Good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
