We are seeking a talented individual to join our AEM team at Oliver Wyman. This role will be based in Pune/Mumbai. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

Senior Principal Engineer - Applications Development

This role will ensure the smooth operation and optimization of our Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) platform from technical and business perspectives. As an AEM Platform Developer, you will be responsible for administering, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting the AEM platform to meet the needs of our organization and deliver exceptional digital experiences to our customers. The ideal candidate will possess solid technical acumen in AEM administration, configuration, maintenance, optimization, and development. They will also have a keen understanding of business needs and the ability to align technical solutions with organizational goals. By leveraging their expertise, the ideal candidate will contribute to the success of our digital initiatives, ensuring a reliable, secure, and high-performing AEM platform that drives business growth and delivers exceptional digital experiences to our customers.

We will count on you to:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Design and develop Anaplan applications, including data models and dashboards.
• Responsible for the overall Anaplan architecture to ensure new models and enhancements to the existing models are designed in the integrated and optimal manner.
• Maintain & optimize all our current Anaplan models, capture and deliver requirements for new or improved functionality to achieve further automation and integration of data and processes, and to enhance user experience.
• Perform testing and debugging of Anaplan applications to identify and resolve issues and ensure optimal performance.
• Provide technical/application support and troubleshooting for Anaplan applications, working closely with end-users to address their needs and resolve any system-related problems.
• Stay up to date with the Anaplan features and enhancements, and proactively identify opportunities to leverage them to improve incentive compensation management, performance reporting, analytics, planning processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, IT, and Data teams, to ensure seamless integration and alignment of Anaplan with other systems and processes.
• Document technical specifications, system configurations, and development processes to ensure knowledge transfer and maintain system documentation.

What you need to have:

• Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience operating and developing AEM solutions or similar content management systems.
• Ability to set up, maintain, troubleshoot environments based on AEM (Adobe Experience Manager) ant the CI/CD pipelines
• Front end experience and Adobe certification would be a plus.
• 3+ years of Experience with AEM as a Cloud service or 5+ years of experience with other cloud platforms (Google, Amazon, Microsoft).
• Experience with AEM solutions and non-functional aspects .
• Proficiency in configuring and maintaining AEM instances.
• Knowledge of AEM persistence layers (e.g., MongoDB, TarMK).
• Familiarity with Apache and dispatcher configuration.
• Understanding of AEM replication agents, JVM and OSGi settings.
• Experience with J2EE development and enterprise Java frameworks.
• Proficiency in version control systems like Git.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies.
• Experience in AEM performance optimization.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and mentoring abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in teams and independently.
• Strong time management and prioritization skills.
• Self-motivated with a commitment to continuous learning.
• Flexible and accommodating to get the project/task completed on time
