We seek a highly skilled and experienced Vice President of Projects and Support to join our executive team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful execution of projects and providing support to various departments within the company. This key leadership position requires exceptional project management skills, technical expertise in the security industry, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions.
Responsibilities
Lead the project management function, ensuring projects are executed according to established methodologies and best practices.
Oversee a team of project managers and support staff, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project objectives, requirements, and deliverables.
Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring adherence to timelines and financial targets.
Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful completion.
Foster strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing exceptional customer service throughout the project lifecycle.
Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in integrating electronic security systems.
Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and operational efficiencies.
Provide strategic guidance to department heads and teams, promoting collaboration and effective communication.
Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field. Master s degree preferred.
Minimum of 20 years of experience in project management, preferably in the electronic security systems integration industry.
Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects within budget, scope, and schedule.
Strong technical knowledge of electronic security systems, including access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and integrated solutions.
Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
Professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or CPP (Certified Protection Professional) are highly desirable.
