Job Summary :

- The Salesforce Tableau Developer will be responsible for developing, integrating, and maintaining Tableau visualizations and reports using data from Salesforce and other business systems.

- This role requires a strong technical background in both Salesforce and Tableau, and an ability to translate business needs into actionable data insights.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain Tableau dashboards, reports, and visualizations using data from Salesforce and other sources.

- Integrate Salesforce data into Tableau using connectors or custom APIs.

- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into efficient data models and dashboards.

- Create custom Salesforce reports and objects to support Tableau reporting requirements.

- Optimize Tableau reports for performance and usability.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate data integration and reporting.

- Provide technical support and training to business users on Tableau and Salesforce reporting tools.

- Troubleshoot data discrepancies, issues with dashboard rendering, and other technical challenges.

- Stay updated on the latest Salesforce and Tableau features and best practices.

- Document data integration processes and reporting procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- Proven experience as a Salesforce Developer or Administrator.

- Strong proficiency in Tableau, including dashboard creation, report generation, and performance optimization.

- Experience with Salesforce Data Loader and other data extraction methods.

- In-depth knowledge of Salesforce's data model, including objects, fields, and relationships.

- Expertise in integrating Salesforce data with third-party tools like Tableau.

- Strong SQL skills to query and manipulate data.

- Ability to work with APIs, REST, and other data integration methods.

- Knowledge of Salesforce and Tableau security best practices.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred).
