ServiceNow Developer - IT Operations (6-10 yrs)

Overview:.

- We are seeking an experienced and talented ServiceNow Developer to join our team.

- The ideal candidate will have over 6 years of experience in ServiceNow development, specifically focusing on Configuration Management Database (CMDB), IT Operations Management (ITOM), and IT Asset Management (ITAM) integrations.

- This role will require a deep understanding of ServiceNow platform capabilities and a strong ability to deliver solutions that enhance and integrate with enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities:.

- Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions with a focus on CMDB, ITOM, and ITAM modules.

- Integrate ServiceNow with various enterprise tools and systems using ServiceNow's IntegrationHub, Web Services, and other integration methods.

- Build and configure CMDB data models, Discovery processes, and event management within ITOM.

- Develop and manage Asset Management workflows and policies to optimize asset lifecycle management and integrations with other systems.

- Design, configure, and implement automated processes within ServiceNow that support the management of IT services and assets.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure timely delivery of projects.

- Support and maintain ServiceNow platform by providing ongoing troubleshooting, updates, and performance optimization.

- Implement and customize ServiceNow applications, including Service Catalog, Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management, and more.

- Ensure compliance with best practices for ServiceNow development and maintain code quality through unit testing and documentation.

- Provide technical guidance to junior developers and assist in training efforts to improve team knowledge.

- Participate in peer reviews of design and code to ensure the quality and maintainability of the application.

- Provide ongoing support for integrations, including troubleshooting, upgrades, and performance tuning.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Minimum 6 years of experience in ServiceNow development and implementation.

- In-depth expertise in ServiceNow CMDB, ITOM, and ITAM integrations.

- Strong experience with ServiceNow Discovery, Event Management, and Orchestration.

- Proficient in ServiceNow scripting (Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Actions, and Client Scripts).

- Strong knowledge of integration methods such as Web Services (REST, SOAP), MID Server, and IntegrationHub.

- Experience with ServiceNow updates, patches, and upgrade procedures.

- Ability to implement and configure core modules of ServiceNow including Service Catalog, Incident, Change, and Problem Management.

- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow data modeling, configuration management, and asset management processes.

- Familiarity with ITIL processes and best practices in ServiceNow implementations.

- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

- Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications :

- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) or Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS).

- Experience with ServiceNow Virtual Agent and Performance Analytics.

- Experience with ITIL v3 or v4 certification.

- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure and their integrations with ServiceNow.
