Role Overview.
We are looking for a skilled ServiceNow Developer with expertise in CMDB and ITSM modules, as well as strong development and integration experience.
Key Responsibilities.
ServiceNow Development :
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, AJAX, and web services.
CMDB Management : Extensive experience with Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
Service Catalog : Manage and implement complex catalog solutions.
ITSM Modules : Expertise in Change Management, Incident Management, and Problem Management.
Integration : Develop integrations using web services and perform data imports.
Preferred Skills :
Discovery :
Ability to discover applications within servers and hardware using :
- SNMP, WMI/PowerShell, cloud discovery (Azure).
- Create and modify discovery patterns.
Service Portal :
- Experience in designing and deploying Service Portal-based solutions.

- Develop and customize ServiceNow applications, workflows, and scripts.
- Implement integrations with other enterprise systems using web services (REST/SOAP).
- Perform data imports and migrations. Ensure the quality, performance, and stability of ServiceNow solutions.
- Extensive experience with Configuration Management Database (CMDB) implementation and management.
- Deep understanding of CI relationships and dependencies.
- Manage and maintain CMDB data accuracy and completeness.
- Implement and maintain discovery rules for various IT assets.
- Design, develop, and implement complex Service Catalog solutions.
- Create and maintain catalog items, order guides, and request offerings.
- Configure and manage catalog workflows and approvals.
- Expertise in ITSM modules, including Incident Management, Problem Management, and Change Management.
- Configure and customize ITSM workflows, notifications, and reports.
- Implement and maintain SLAs and KPIs within ITSM processes.
- Develop and maintain integrations with other enterprise systems using web services (REST/SOAP).
- Perform data imports and migrations between ServiceNow and other systems.
Preferred Skills :
Discovery : Ability to discover applications within servers and hardware using : SNMP, WMI/PowerShell, cloud discovery (Azure). Create and modify discovery patterns.
Service Portal : Experience in designing and deploying Service Portal-based solutions. Develop custom widgets and UI components for Service Portal.
Work Mode : Bangalore & Pune : Hybrid Chennai & Noida
Onsite Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 7-12 years of experience in ServiceNow development.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passion for learning new technologies and staying updated with industry best practices.
- ServiceNow certifications (e.g., Certified System Administrator, Certified Implementation Specialist) are a plus.
