Senior ElasticSearch Engineer/Administrator - Kibana/Logstash (5-9 yrs)

About the Role :

- Marktine Technology Solutions Pvt Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Elastic Stack Engineer/Administrator to join our growing team.

- As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our Elastic Stack infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability.

- You will play a critical role in leveraging the power of the Elastic Stack for log management, data analytics, and security monitoring.

Key Responsibilities :

- Install, configure, and manage Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana clusters.

- Optimize Elasticsearch cluster performance, including indexing, search, and data retrieval.

- Implement and maintain data pipelines for ingesting data from various sources into Elasticsearch (e., syslog, application logs, metrics).

- Develop and maintain custom dashboards and visualizations in Kibana for monitoring, analysis, and reporting.

- Ensure the security and availability of the Elastic Stack environment.

- Analyze log data to identify trends, anomalies, and security threats.

- Develop and implement data analysis and visualization techniques to provide valuable insights into system performance and user behavior.

- Create custom queries and searches to extract meaningful information from log data.

- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to the Elastic Stack.

- Investigate and resolve performance bottlenecks and data ingestion issues.

- Provide technical support to other teams on the use of the Elastic Stack.

- Evaluate and implement new features and functionalities within the Elastic Stack ecosystem.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in the Elastic Stack and related technologies.

- Collaborate effectively with other engineers, DevOps teams, and stakeholders.

- Communicate technical information clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.

Qualifications :

Essential :

- 5+ years of hands-on experience with the Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).

- Strong understanding of Elasticsearch indexing, search, and query languages (e.g Lucene query syntax, KQL).

- Experience with Logstash data pipelines, including data ingestion, transformation, and filtering.

- Proficiency in developing and maintaining Kibana dashboards and visualizations.

- Experience with data analysis and visualization techniques.

- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
