DBT Engineer - Snowflake DB (6-10 yrs)

Role : Data build tools.

Skill : Airflow, Snowflake, Advanced DBT Concepts, AWS, Advanced SQL.

Experience : 6 Years to 10 Years.

Location : Remote ( C2C).

Key Responsibilities :

- DBT Development : Build, manage, and optimize DBT (Data Build Tool) models for transforming raw data into structured, analytics-ready formats in Snowflake.

- Snowflake Data Warehouse : Design and implement data models and transformations in Snowflake, ensuring data consistency and performance optimization.

- Data Orchestration with Airflow : Develop and manage data workflows and pipelines using Apache Airflow to orchestrate DBT jobs, automate data transformation tasks, and schedule data workflows.

- SQL Development : Write efficient, scalable SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.

- Collaboration : Work closely with data analysts, data engineers, and business stakeholders to define and meet data requirements.

- Data Quality Assurance : Ensure data integrity, validate data quality, and resolve data discrepancies across multiple systems.

- Performance Optimization : Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in data pipelines and SQL queries, optimizing them for both speed and cost efficiency.

- Automation and Monitoring : Build automated processes for data pipelines and implement monitoring mechanisms to ensure the reliability and performance of data jobs.

- Documentation : Maintain comprehensive documentation for DBT models, data pipelines, and data sources to ensure reproducibility and clear communication with the team.
