Senior OutSystems Developer (2-4 yrs)

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior OutSystems Developer to join our team on a remote, contract-to-contract (C2C) basis. In this role, you will be a key contributor to our OutSystems development initiatives, responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality applications. You will work independently and collaboratively, leveraging your expertise to deliver robust and scalable solutions.

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and implement complex OutSystems applications, including both traditional and reactive web applications.

- Deliver high-quality, maintainable code within specified timelines.

- Independently develop and deploy substantial software modules.

- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, design, development,1 testing, and deployment.

- Optimize application performance and ensure scalability.

- Utilize your deep understanding of OutSystems 10 or later versions (OutSystems 11 preferred) to build cutting-edge solutions.

- Leverage your proficiency in MVC, Web API, Entity Framework, and SQL Server to create seamless integrations and data-driven applications.

- Develop and consume RESTful and SOAP APIs for integration with external systems.

- Apply object-oriented programming principles to design and develop modular and reusable code.

- Utilize modern web technologies (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and ideally Vue, React, or Angular) to enhance user interfaces.

- Work with relational databases and write complex SQL queries.

- Work effectively within an Agile/Scrum development environment.

- Communicate clearly and concisely with team members, stakeholders, and clients.

- Produce detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, user guides, and API documentation.

- Use version control systems (e.g., Git) effectively.

- Analyze and resolve complex technical issues and bugs.

- Intelligently debug both existing and new software to ensure optimal performance.

- Design and optimize application and data integration processes across various systems.

Requirements :

- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in OutSystems software development/programming.

- Minimum 6 months of hands-on experience with OutSystems 10 or a later version.

- Proven ability to independently deliver modules of substantial software systems.

- Strong understanding and practical experience with MVC, Web API, Entity Framework, and SQL Server.

- Extensive experience in API integration (REST and SOAP).

- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles.

- Experience with modern web technologies (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript).

- Proficiency in using version control systems (e.g., Git).

- Experience in relational database management and SQL.
