Senior ETL Oracle Data Integrator (5-7 yrs)

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Senior ETL Oracle Data Integrator to join our team on a remote contract basis. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of robust data integration solutions using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI). Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring seamless data flow between various systems, with a focus on Oracle HR and Applications. You will also provide expert consulting on business processes and data integration strategies, aligning data initiatives with overall organizational objectives.

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and implement complex ETL processes using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) to extract, transform, and load data from diverse sources.

- Develop and maintain ODI mappings, interfaces, packages, and procedures, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.

- Optimize ETL workflows for efficiency and data quality.

- Conduct thorough testing and validation of ETL processes.

- Design and implement data integration solutions between Oracle HR, Oracle Applications, and other enterprise systems.

- Ensure data consistency and accuracy across integrated systems, addressing data quality issues proactively.

- Work with Oracle database schemas, and develop efficient SQL and PL/SQL code.

- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for data integration solutions.

- Provide expert consulting on data integration best practices, data warehousing, and business intelligence strategies.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide effective solutions.

- Oversee business processes related to data integration, and recommend improvements.

- Implement data quality checks and validation processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity.

- Adhere to data governance policies and standards, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

- Work with Data modeling concepts, and help to enforce data standards.

- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in ETL processes and database queries.

- Optimize ODI configurations and database settings for optimal performance.

- Monitor system performance and implement proactive measures to prevent issues.

Qualifications :

Technical Expertise :

- Extensive hands-on experience in designing and developing ETL solutions using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).

- Strong proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL.

- In-depth knowledge of Oracle HR and Oracle Applications data models.

- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices.

- Experience with performance tuning of ODI and Oracle databases.

- Experience with data modeling.
