APPIT Software - Snowflake/DBT Lead - Data Warehousing & Engineering (8-12 yrs)

Location : Remote.

Primary Skills : Snowflake Lead with DBT.

Secondary Skills : ELT, S- L, Data Modelling.

Responsibilities :

- Experience with data lake, data warehouse and data sharing concepts.

- Good experience with Snowflake and its utilities such as SnowS- L, SnowPark, SnowCD, etc.

- Hands-on experience transforming data using DBT on Snowflake.

- Good understanding of dbt cloud and best practices to develop, schedule, test and investigate data models.

- Experience working with Azure data engineering projects.

- Knowledge of Snowflake security features including access control, authentication, authorization, encryption, masking, secured views, etc.

- Skilled in relational and dimensional modeling.

- Expertise in Snowflake concepts like setting up Resource monitors, RBAC controls, scalable virtual warehouse, S- L performance tuning, time travel and automating them.

Qualifications :

- 8+ years of experience in Snowflake, Azure Cloud, DBT.

- Proven expertise in Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Storage, Snowflake.

- Strong expertise in data modeling, database design, ETL processes, and data integration.

- Experience with cloud-based data platforms and CI/CD practices.

- Strong S- L skills for data retrieval and manipulation.

- Experience with data visualization best practices and principles.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
