The Team Lead Logistics Operations is responsible for overseeing and managing daily logistics pre-dispatch operations, ensuring timely and efficient coordination across stakeholders and teams. This role demands a proactive approach to optimizing processes, adherence to standard operating procedures, and driving improvements in productivity and project management.
Key Responsibilities:
Daily Logistics Operations:
Oversee and manage daily pre-dispatch logistics operations to ensure smooth workflows and on-time deliveries.
Track and ensure adherence to SOPs, maintaining high operational standards.
Stakeholder Management:
Collaborate closely with the Business Operations team and Supply team for order planning and vehicle allocation.
Foster effective communication with stakeholders to ensure all operational requirements are met in advance.
Team Management & Reviews:
Lead, mentor, and manage the logistics operations team, conducting regular performance reviews and setting clear objectives.
Develop team members by identifying training and development needs.
SOP Compliance:
Ensure all logistics operations comply with established SOPs, particularly pre-dispatch standards such as timely vehicle placements and documentation (eg, Delivery Order release).
Monitor adherence to pre-dispatch checklists, including photo documentation and other compliance aspects.
Dashboard & Report Analysis:
Analyze dashboards and reports to track logistics performance metrics, vehicle placements, and on-time dispatches.
Use data-driven insights to make informed operational decisions and optimize logistics processes.
Project & Initiative Management:
Manage special projects to develop new logistics capabilities or enhance existing processes.
Identify and implement process improvements and collaborate with product teams to drive technology and productivity enhancements.
Performance Tracking & Improvements:
Track product adoption and improvements by monitoring requirements raised to the product team.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
Proven experience in logistics operations with a focus on pre-dispatch and stakeholder management.
Strong analytical skills, with experience in dashboard and report analysis.
Excellent team management and leadership abilities.
Proficiency in SOP adherence and process compliance.
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of logistics software and tools.
Prior experience in implementing process improvements and driving technology adoption in logistics.
