What is the role about
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Team Leader for Last Mile Logistics to oversee and manage the final stages of our e-commerce supply chain, ensuring timely and efficient product delivery to customers. The ideal candidate will have a solid logistics background, strong leadership abilities, and a customer-focused mindset. This role involves supervising a team of logistics associates, optimizing delivery routes, and ensuring smooth operations in the last mile of the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership and Supervision:
Lead, motivate, and manage a team of drivers, couriers, and logistics associates.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
Foster a culture of high performance, teamwork, and accountability.
Ensure adherence to company policies, safety standards, and delivery protocols.
Last Mile Delivery Operations:
Oversee daily last-mile delivery operations to ensure timely, condition-perfect delivery.
Coordinate with 3PL partners to maintain smooth operations and escalate issues as needed.
Track KPIs related to delivery times, costs, and customer satisfaction.
Generate daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports for management.
Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
Experience:
4+ years in logistics, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role within last-mile delivery or e-commerce logistics.
Proven experience in managing delivery teams and optimizing logistics operations.
Skills:
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Proficient in logistics management software and strong analytical skills.
