Qualification:

Essential - Candidate Should haveDegree/Diploma full time in any streams from reputed institute.

Desired -PGDM /MBA In Supply Chain Management.

Experience: Essentia l- 8 to 12years of experience in Logistics Function wherein have candidate should have atleast 5 years experience at manager level position.

Desired-

Experience - Manufacturing Experiencewill be given advantage.

Job Description:

Logistics Management:

Oversee the end-to-end logisticsoperations, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.

Develop and implement logisticsstrategies to optimize transportation routes, reduce costs, and ensure timelydeliveries.

Collaborate with suppliers, carriers, and 9other partners to ensure smooth logistics operations.

Monitor and track shipments toensure on-time delivery and resolve any issues that may arise.

Dispatch Coordination:

Plan and schedule dispatchactivities, ensuring the efficient allocation of resources.

Coordinate with production teamsto prioritize dispatches based on demand and production schedules.

Maintain accurate records ofdispatch orders, invoices, and delivery documentation.

Ensure compliance with regulatoryrequirements and safety standards in dispatch operations.

Team Management:

Lead and manage a team of dispatchand logistics professionals, providing guidance, training, and performancefeedback.

Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team.

Manage staffing needs, includingrecruitment and training of new team members as needed.

Inventory Control:

Implement inventory controlmeasures to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.

Conduct regular inventory auditsand reconcile discrepancies.

Collaborate with procurement andproduction teams to maintain optimal inventory levels.

Cost Management:

Identify opportunities to reducetransportation and logistics costs while maintaining service quality.

Review and approvelogistics-related invoices and expenses.

Implement cost-saving initiativesand monitor their effectiveness.

Safety and Compliance:

Ensure compliance with safetyregulations, including handling hazardous materials and waste.

Conduct safety audits and promotea culture of safety among team members.

Stay up to date with industryregulations and best practices.

Core Competencies:

Strong knowledge of transportationregulations and compliance.

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in logistics softwareand Microsoft Office Suite.
