Job Description: Data Analyst
Within CMR, your responsibilities will include:
- Interpret data, analyze results and provide reports
- Identify, analyze and interpret trends or patterns
Perform analysis on defects :
- Filter and clean data (eliminate false positive) and review or have code problems corrected
- For actual issues, analyze root causes and coordinate remediation, Locate and define new process improvements opportunities (control enhancements, cross-regulations checks .)
- Perform ad-hoc transversal data analysis (on specific asset classes, regulation, topics)
- Create dashboards, implement KPIs to give a consistent and readable view of results of analysis to the management
- Streamline and automate the communication regarding the production status to the business departments, the management and the regulators
Role requirements:
- Degree holder from discipline in Mathematics, Statistics and Finance or Economics preferred
- Seniority level : 2 to 4 years' of experience in a similar role with a foreign Bank
- Knowledge of financial products
- Strong analytical skills with ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate significant amount of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
- Knowledge of regulations such as EMIR, DFA, CSA, MiFiD II, SFTR, MMSR or SMMD
