Senior Manager Server/Cloud Engineering

Administer and maintain Active Directory, including Group Policy, Sites & Services, AD replication,
AD schema, DNS, and DHCP.
Manage and maintain network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, VPN, security protocols,
network availability, and firewall configurations, ensuring robust and secure connectivity.
Deploy, configure, and maintain Windows servers in both physical and virtualized environments
(e.g., Hyper-V), ensuring optimal performance and availability.
Support the identification and remediation of security vulnerabilities across systems, implementing
best practices to minimize risks.
Lead and contribute to IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and the implementation
of new technologies, ensuring successful and timely delivery
General Responsibilities:
IT Infrastructure Management: Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of IT systems
and infrastructure to ensure seamless operations and high availability.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for system enhancements and improvements,
ensuring that IT services evolve in line with organizational needs and technological advancements.
Compliance and Best Practices: Ensure that all IT systems and processes adhere to industry best
practices, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies.
Additional Responsibilities:
Training and Mentoring: Provide guidance and training to junior staff and team members, sharing
knowledge and expertise to foster professional development within the team

Knowledge & Skills (Must Have) :
Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of Microsoft technologies, including Active Directory,
Microsoft 365, Azure, SQL Server, and Windows Server.
Networking Expertise: Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, VPN, and
security protocols.
Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical skills with a proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve
complex technical issues.
Project Management: Demonstrated ability to manage IT projects effectively, ensuring successful
completion within scope, time, and budget constraints.
Knowledge & Skills (Additional) :
Excellent interpersonal communication skills
Good negotiating skills
Good problem-solving skills
Proficient in creating and maintaining detailed documentation for systems, configurations, and
procedures.
Knowledge of automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) to streamline
processes and improve efficiency.
Experience:
Minimum 5-7 years in a senior system engineering role or equivalent, with a strong background in
managing complex IT environments.
Extensive experience working with Microsoft technologies, including hands-on expertise in
administration and optimization.
Proven track record of leading IT projects, from initial planning through to successful execution and
delivery.
Experience in implementing and managing security measures, including vulnerability assessment
and risk mitigation.
Educational Qualification:
Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Microsoft Azure Certified Administrator (minimum), Azure Certified Architect (preferred).
Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate (preferred).
CompTIA Network+, Security+, or similar certifications (preferred).
Fortinet NSE certification (preferred).
