Accountabilities / Responsibilities
- Responsible for the overall production of the Solvency II submissions in Tagetik in compliance with local regulatory reporting requirements in UK.
- Produce annual and quarterly Quantitative Reporting Templates (QRT s) for local regulatory Solvency II Reporting, which includes technical provisions, projection of future cashflows and transitional measures.
- Produce high-level analysis of regulatory Solvency II QRTs and reconciliations before handover to Reporting analysis team.
- Prepare the inputs for the Solvency and Financial Condition Report (SFCR) to support the analysis and commentary by the Reporting Analysis team.
- Production of the Solvency II Capital Generation for MG
- Liaise with the Core Actuarial team on data required for the technical provision QRT s and to resolve validations errors in Tagetik.
- Adhere with current regulatory requirements and procedures to maintain a robust financial control regime.
- Support the implementation of new regulatory changes and participation in ad hoc projects to support continuous improvement and process enhancement.

Knowledge, Skills, Experience Educational Qualification
Knowledge Skills:
- Knowledge and experience in regulatory Solvency II reporting (preferably for a life insurer)
- High analytical skills and attention to detail to identify trends and discrepancies.
- Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise workload.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills to liaise with other actuaries, explain Solvency II results, and document processes and adjustments.
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively as a team and independently.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities and ability to investigate and resolve complex regulatory reporting issues and discrepancies effectively.
- Adept at building relationships to liaise with Balance sheet and revenue/expenses teams to resolve validations.
Experience:
- Strong foundation in regulatory reporting.
- Strong experience of utilising Excel and handling large volumes of data.
- Practical experience with consolidation tools is advantageous.
Educational Qualification:
- Newly/ part qualification IAI membership or the equivalent
