BCM Analyst - Abu Dhabi

Role & responsibilities

• Implementation of business continuity program & framework including plan, policies, and procedures for all Retail entity operations including:
• Defining business recovery time and corresponding potential business impact.
• Developing incident response plan with defined action time thresholds.
• Developing business continuity plan along with recovery timelines.
• Regularly test and assist business lines to revise existing business continuity plans.
• Coordinate with Technology Services for IT Disaster Recovery Management. Ensure that IT DR Plan is aligned with BCM implementation. Support implementation of IT DR Plan, IT DR tests and its improvement.
• Assist in identification of critical suppliers and single points of failure.
• Ensure documentation and maintenance of all BC plans, procedures, and policies.
• Assist in Training & Awareness activities related to business continuity framework.
• Undertake regular periodic reviews of the BC framework & policy to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Support in ISO 22301 certification, and all associated activities.
• Support compliance with the regulatory requirements related to business continuity function.
• Any other associated responsibility assigned by management

Preferred candidate profile

• 5 years experience as a Business Continuity Analyst or a similar role.
• Masters or Bachelors degree in business administration, IT, Risk Management, or a related field
• Understanding of practices, concepts, and business continuity trends.
• Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
• In-depth knowledge of risk and BCM frameworks, standards, and best practices (e.g., ISO 22301, NCEMA guidelines, COSO, ISO 31000, etc.)
• Professional certifications in business Continuity i.e., ISO22301, CBCI.
• Highly capable using the Microsoft Office suite (Excel & PowerPoint).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex situations and make informed decisions.
• Strong oral and written communication
• Proficiency in business continuity software tools and technologies is a plus.
• Self-starter able to deliver results with limited supervision
