Risk Analyst - Abu Dhabi

Role & responsibilities

• Facilitate risk management activities across Lulu group and work with respective functions and departments to identify strategic and department risks, facilitate the prioritization of risks and develop effective risk responses.
• Identify use cases to perform quantitative risk analysis based on the residual risks profile of the Group and ensure data driven decision making to mitigate risks and issues.
• Assess and identify different data sources linked (both internal & external) to key strategic objectives to perform quantitative risks analysis using different tools to aid effective decision making.
• Develop & maintain a catalogue of varied range of data sources used for validation and verification of models linked to risk analysis.
• Perform review and updates to risk registers in line with the Enterprise risk management policy for reporting to the risk owners, and relevant internal and external stakeholders
• Facilitation, coordination and maintenance of all regional and department risk registers, to be managed according to the risk management Policy
• Continue to develop Risk Management tools, practices, and policies to analyse, report and manage risks according to the defined risk appetite statement
• Ensure the mitigations contained within the key risks register are updated frequently so that delays can be escalated through the risk management reporting process
• Perform Quantitative Risk Analysis (QRA) on pricing competitiveness, customer happiness data, etc. to identify inherent issues and issue recommendations to the management
• Produce risk reports as required for senior management, by analysing various risk data points and translating them into action-based reports
• Any other associated responsibility assigned by management

Preferred candidate profile

• 3+ years experience as a Risk Analyst, Business Analyst or a similar role.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Risk Management or Finance
• Professional certifications in risk management i.e., ISO31000, PMI-RMP.
• Highly capable using the Microsoft Office suite (Excel & PowerPoint).
• Competence in SQL & Python languages
• Experience in data analysis and reporting
• Strong oral and written communication
• Self-starter able to deliver results with limited supervision
