Amazon E-Commerce Specialist
Job Title: Amazon E-Commerce Specialist
Location: Remote
Shift : 7pm - 4am IST (US Time Zone)
- The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Amazon Seller Central, brand registry, product listing optimization, and advertising campaign management.
- This role requires a strong understanding of e-commerce strategies, fulfillment methods (FBA/FBM), and compliance with Amazon policies to drive sales and maximize profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
Account Setup & Business Registration:
- Manage the complete Amazon Seller registration process, including tax documentation (W-9 or W-8BEN), business verification, and account activation.
- Ensure the correct setup of individual or professional seller accounts based on business needs.
- Maintain and update business details, including legal entity information, address verification, and payment processing setup via Payoneer, Wise, or direct bank accounts.
- Provide ongoing support for account verification, ensuring all necessary documents (ID, utility bill, etc.) are submitted accurately.
Storefront & Brand Registry Development:
- Register and manage brand enrollment under Amazon Brand Registry, ensuring compliance with trademark requirements (USPTO registration or application in progress).
- Design and optimize the Amazon storefront with engaging visuals, banners, and well-structured product categories to enhance customer experience.
- Develop a comprehensive business plan, defining product niche, target audience, pricing strategies, and fulfillment methods (FBA/FBM).
Product Listing & Optimization:
- Upload and manage product listings via the Amazon Seller Central "Add a Product" tool.
- Implement SEO best practices, optimizing product titles, descriptions, bullet points, and backend keywords to enhance discoverability.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to determine optimal pricing, product positioning, and promotional strategies.
- Ensure all listings meet Amazon's compliance guidelines and quality standards.
Amazon Advertising & Campaign Management:
- Plan, execute, and optimize Amazon PPC campaigns (Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Display Ads) to drive sales and increase brand visibility.
- Perform A/B testing on ad creatives, product images, and listing strategies to enhance conversion rates.
- Monitor advertising performance metrics, adjusting bids and targeting for maximum ROI.
- Develop strategies for cross-selling, upselling, and increasing customer engagement through promotional campaigns.
Fulfillment & Logistics Management:
- Set up and manage Fulfilled by Amazon (FBA) operations, including inventory shipment to Amazon warehouses, stock level monitoring, and restocking strategies.
- Oversee Fulfilled by Merchant (FBM) processes, ensuring seamless order fulfillment, shipping, and customer service.
- Implement efficient supply chain management, tracking inventory turnover and minimizing storage fees.
Compliance & Taxation:
- Ensure compliance with Amazon's selling policies, maintaining account health and avoiding penalties or suspension risks.
- Register for state sales tax permits if applicable and ensure proper tax documentation (EIN/SSN).
Utilize Amazon's Tax Calculation Service or third-party tax solutions to manage tax reporting and compliance.
Testing, Launch, & Ongoing Performance Optimization:
- Conduct test purchases to verify the accuracy and functionality of listings, pricing, and shipping options.
- Monitor key performance metrics (Buy Box percentage, seller feedback, reviews, and account health) and implement corrective actions when needed.
- Develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement, leveraging tools like Jungle Scout, Helium 10, and Amazon Advertising Console for data-driven decision-making.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in Amazon Seller Central management, including account setup, storefront customization, and fulfillment operations.
- Expertise in Amazon PPC Advertising, campaign optimization, and data analysis.
- Strong knowledge of e-commerce strategies, including SEO for Amazon, pricing models, and competitive market analysis.
- Experience with brand registry enrollment and Amazon compliance policies.
- Understanding of tax regulations and sales tax compliance within the Amazon marketplace.
- Proficiency in Amazon business tools, including Seller Central, Jungle Scout, Helium 10, and Payoneer/Wise for international transactions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and optimize business strategies.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities to coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, and customers.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Amazon Advertising or E-Commerce Marketing.
- Experience managing international Amazon marketplaces and cross-border logistics.
- Familiarity with third-party fulfillment services and supply chain optimization.
