Network and Firewall L2 Engineer

• Provide advanced troubleshooting and resolution for complex network and firewall issues
• Design and implement network and firewall solutions to meet business requirements
• Perform network and firewall capacity planning and optimization
• Mentor and guide L1 engineers
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless operations
• Adhere to service level agreements (SLAs) and meet service delivery objectives
• Effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Required Skills and Experience

• Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, routing, switching)
• Advanced knowledge of firewall technologies (Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto Networks)
• Experience with network protocols (BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VPNs)
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving complex network and firewall issues
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Certifications: CCNP (preferred)
• Experience: 5+ years of experience in network and firewall administration
