VMware/Nutanix L2 Engineer

• Provide advanced troubleshooting and resolution for complex VMware and Nutanix issues
• Perform advanced VM and storage configuration tasks
• Design and implement VMware and Nutanix solutions to meet business requirements
• Participate in capacity planning and performance tuning activities
• Mentor and guide L1 administrators
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless operations
• Adhere to service level agreements (SLAs) and meet service delivery objectives
• Effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Required Skills and Experience

• Strong understanding of VMware vSphere and Nutanix architecture and components
• Advanced knowledge of virtual machine administration, ESXi host configuration, and Nutanix storage concepts
• Experience with vCenter Server, vSphere Distributed Switch, vSphere Storage DRS, Nutanix Prism Central, and Nutanix AOS
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Certifications: VMware Certified Professional (VCP) - Data Center Virtualization and Nutanix Certified Professional (NCP) (preferred)
• Experience: 7+ years of experience in VMware and/or Nutanix administration
