Job Description
- Monitor and manage Linux servers hosting SAP HANA and BWA systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic Linux and SAP HANA/BWA-related issues.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks like patching, upgrades, and backups.
- Provide first-level support for Linux and SAP HANA/BWA-related incidents.
- Document and escalate complex issues to higher-level support teams.
- Adhere to service level agreements (SLAs) and meet service delivery objectives.
- Effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Required Skills and Experience
- Strong understanding of Linux operating systems (Red Hat, SUSE, Ubuntu)
- Knowledge of SAP HANA and BWA concepts
- Experience with shell scripting (Bash, Korn)
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and ability1 to multitask
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Certifications: Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) or SUSE Certified Administrator (SCA) (preferred)
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in Linux administration, with a focus on SAP HANA and BWA
