Manager HR (Manager - AGM HR)
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to support President to lead and direct HR, IR and Admin strategy and governance for 2 plants in India.
- Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital.
- Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across 2 plants.
- Nurture a positive working environment.
- Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
- Maintain pay plan and benefits program.
- Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs.
- Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.
- Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
- Manage unionized labour relations and internal communications, acquire and manage talents.
- Talent Management, OD Interventions, Culture Change initiatives.
- High potential talent management.
- Yearly Budget preparation, budget tracking and forecasting of expenses on monthly basis.
- Analyzing actual expenses and identifying root cause with countermeasures in case of cost overruns.
- Understand corporate metrics and align India HR to it completely.
- Compliance-based management support.
- Work with multi region HR colleagues to identify best practices and implement in India Operations.
- Align to HR guidelines from IATF and Customer specific requirements.
- Attend audits as HR Head.
- Digitize Admin operations.
Professional Experience:
- Experience in human resources policies, talent mgt.; leadership development.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues, staff & workmen.
- Experience in educating and coaching staff.
- Experience in conflict resolution, disciplinary processes and workplace investigations.
- Experience in following and maintaining workplace privacy.
- Ability to give presentations, training and hand holding for individual development.
- Experience in Industrial relations work, Wage settlement negotiations and Union relations.
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook & Power point.
- MBA in HR
- Labour Law qualification will be an added advantage
- Min. 15 years experience in HR
- Min. 4 years experience as Manager role
- Hindi & English languages are must.
- Gujarati; Marathi knowledge will be of added advantage
