The General Manager - Retail HR will be responsible for managing end-to-end HR functions across the retail business line for agricultural products. This leadership role involves handling 3300+ employees with a team of HR professionals. The role requires a hands-on approach and a strategic mindset to ensure seamless HR operations and alignment with business goals managing all retail stores across PAN India.
Key Responsibility :
- Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with business objectives, managing HR functions from recruitment to retirement.
- Drive recruitment strategies across PAN India, focusing on talent acquisition, onboarding, and workforce planning.
- Design and implement employee engagement initiatives, address grievances, and proactively reduce attrition rates.
- Ensure compliance with PAN India regulations, labor laws, and government requirements, maintaining relationships with regulatory bodies.
- Identify skill gaps and implement training programs, driving leadership development and continuous learning initiatives.
- Conduct regular visits to retail stores, ensuring operational efficiency, hygiene, maintenance, and adherence to standards.
- Provide insights through HR analytics, focusing on metrics like attendance, attrition, and employee satisfaction for data-driven decisions.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of HR professionals, fostering collaboration and achieving organizational goals.
Qualification & Experience:
- Master's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- 18-20 years of experience in HR, with significant exposure to retail operations and large-scale employee management.
- Proven track record of managing HR functions in a PAN India setup.
- In-depth knowledge of labor laws, government regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Experience in the agriculture, fertilizers, or allied sectors is preferred.
- Candidates from Retail industry managing stores preferred.
- Travel involved to all the retail store and corporate offices PAN India for regular reviews and operational oversight.
