We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of HR to lead the Human Resources function in our fast-growing EdTech organization. The ideal candidate will align HR strategies with business objectives, foster a culture of innovation, and attract, develop, and retain top talent. This role requires a strategic thinker who is also capable of rolling up their sleeves and executing HR operations effectively in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the overall business goals and objectives.
- Partner with the leadership team to drive organizational change, improve employee engagement, and enhance workplace culture.Design scalable HR processes to support the company's growth trajectory.
Talent Acquisition & Retention:
- Oversee recruitment strategies to attract top talent for various functions.
- Develop employee value propositions and employer branding initiatives.
- Implement retention strategies, including competitive compensation structures and career development programs.
Learning & Development:
- Create and drive learning and development initiatives to build employee capabilities.
- Develop leadership development programs to nurture future leaders.
Performance Management:
- Design and implement a performance management system that aligns with business objectives.
- Ensure timely and constructive feedback, career progression, and succession planning.
HR Operations & Compliance:
- Manage HR policies, procedures, and systems to ensure compliance with local laws and regulations.
- Oversee payroll, benefits, and HR analytics to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI):
- Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion across the organization.
- Foster a workplace culture that values diverse perspectives and encourages innovation.
Employee Engagement:
- Implement initiatives to boost employee morale and engagement.
- Conduct regular surveys and feedback sessions to address employee concerns proactively.
Qualifications:
Educational Background:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Master's degree or HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-SCP, PHR, CIPD) are preferred.
Experience:
- 10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior HR role.
- Experience in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment, preferably in EdTech or similar industries.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and organizational development principles.
- Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to influence and work collaboratively across all levels of the organization.
- Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Proficient in HR software and data analytics.
