Head - Operations - Manufacturing (14-20 yrs)

Your tasks:

- Manage the end-to-end ramp up phase of the new production plant in India from conceptualization to operational commissioning

- Develop and lead the Operations business unit, including manufacturing, assembly, commissioning, supply chain management and engineering

- Create regular project reports for and align local operations strategies with the executive board member Operations and the Managing Director

- Implement strategies for production, quality and efficient labor utilization of the plant and continuously improve such

- Ensure that production line schedules are in line with facility capabilities, customer requirements and financial planning

- Investigate and implement innovative processes to reduce operational expenses and improve product quality applying lean principles

Strategize and implement efficient logistics and supply chain processes for the project

Your profile:

- Bachelor's' or master's degree in engineering or similar degree

- At least 14-20 years of work experience in a multinational business environment, preferably in production environments and/or in a comparable position

- Track record of successfully working in international and cross-functional project teams

- Experience through all phases of a production plant ramp up beneficial

- Strong leadership skills and experience in developing (management) teams in production environments
