Job Summary:
The Head of Human Resources will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies that align with the company's goals and enhance employee engagement, productivity, and organizational effectiveness. This role requires a strategic leader who can support a high-growth environment and drive HR initiatives to foster a culture of performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic HR Leadership
- Develop and execute HR strategies that support the company's growth and operational goals.
- Collaborate with the executive team to shape HR policies that align with the organization's mission and values.
- Ensure the HR team is aligned with business needs and positioned to support the company's objectives.
2. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
- Oversee the recruitment and selection process to attract high-quality talent in a competitive market.
- Implement talent acquisition strategies that ensure workforce diversity and meet the future needs of the organization.
- Manage workforce planning and succession planning to maintain a strong talent pipeline.
3. Learning & Development
- Design and oversee professional development programs that promote employee skill enhancement and career growth.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning by identifying training needs and implementing learning initiatives.
- Support leadership development programs to build managerial and leadership capabilities.
4. Performance Management:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive performance management system to drive accountability, reward high performance, and address performance gaps.
- Guide managers on performance appraisal processes and establish key performance indicators (KPIs) aligned with business goals.
5. Compensation & Benefits:
- Design competitive compensation and benefits programs to attract and retain talent within the financial services sector.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements related to compensation and employee benefits.
- Conduct regular market benchmarking and review reward programs to ensure the company remains competitive.
6. Employee Engagement & Culture Building:
- Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture that aligns with the company's core values.
- Drive initiatives to improve employee engagement and job satisfaction, reducing attrition and enhancing productivity.
- Manage employee relations and handle grievances, ensuring fair treatment and promoting an open communication culture.
7. Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, employment standards, and industry-specific HR regulations.
- Mitigate HR-related risks by establishing robust policies and regularly auditing HR practices.
- Ensure data privacy and confidentiality regarding employee information.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 15+ years of experience in HR management, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior HR role, ideally within the housing finance, banking, or broader financial services sector.
Skills:
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficiency in HR systems and data-driven HR practices.
- Strong understanding of employment law and regulatory compliance in financial services.
