About the Role :
As an Odoo Functional Consultant, you will play a crucial role in analyzing our client's business processes, providing expert consulting services, and implementing tailored Odoo solutions. You will work closely with clients to understand their unique needs and translate those needs into effective Odoo configurations and customizations. This role requires a strong understanding of Odoo functionality, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct thorough business process analysis to understand client requirements and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide expert consulting services on Odoo functionality and best practices.
- Design and configure Odoo modules to meet specific client needs, including customizations where necessary.
- Lead and participate in Odoo implementations, from requirements gathering and design to testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.
- Develop detailed functional specifications, configuration documents, and test plans.
- Conduct user training and create training materials.
- Provide ongoing support to clients, troubleshooting issues and resolving functional problems.
- Collaborate effectively with technical consultants and developers to ensure seamless integration of Odoo solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Odoo releases, updates, and new functionalities.
- Contribute to pre-sales activities, including solution demonstrations and proposal development.
- Manage client expectations and ensure project deliverables are met on time and within budget.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of proven experience as an Odoo Functional Consultant or in a similar ERP consulting role.
- Extensive hands-on experience with Odoo ERP modules and functionality (e.g., Sales, CRM, Inventory, Manufacturing, Accounting, HR).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex business processes and translate them into functional solutions.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
- Proven experience working directly with clients, understanding their requirements, and delivering tailored solutions.
- Strong documentation skills, including the ability to create clear and concise functional specifications, configuration documents, and test plans.
- Familiarity with software development life cycles (SDLC).
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Odoo certification or other relevant ERP/CRM certifications.
- Experience with Odoo development tools and technologies (e.g., Python, XML).
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Experience in a consulting environment.
- Experience with project management methodologies.
