Programme Manager- Charitable Trust

Role

The incumbent will support the Chairman of a Charitable Trust and a Foundation in onboarding new partners, and planning and implementing various initiatives related to the promotion of Art/Culture/Sports/Education and other philanthropic initiatives in India.

Responsibilities

• To represent the Chairperson and the Family before external and other stakeholders as appropriate
• To build new collaborative relationships with non-profit organizations and other partners relevant to the work of the Trust
• To conduct due diligence of proposals received, and provide high quality analytical reports for review by the Chairperson
• To support the implementation of philanthropic initiatives under the Trust
• To review progress of ongoing programmes as per the action plans with stakeholders and take correction actions
• To actively engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless functioning of all activities and keep the Chairperson abreast on a real time basis
• To manage all communication collaterals including the mailbox, website, social media content, website management, official correspondence etc.
• To prepare high quality documents, including preparatory briefs, meeting minutes, reports etc. with engaging content in a timely and accurate manner
• To ensure strict adherence to deadlines and intimate the Chairperson on items requiring their attention
• To manage the end to end logistics for events/programs/exhibitions in India or abroad (as may be applicable)

Preferred candidate profile

• The candidate should have a Bachelors degree in Journalism/Mass Communication /Advertising/Social Work or a related field. A Masters degree in the above will be an advantage
• 8-10 years of experience in the development sector
• Experience of working with NGOs/Associations engaged in promotion of Art/Culture/Sports/ Education is an added advantage
• Good understanding of contemporary art is an advantage
