Manager- Audit

Role

The incumbent will assist the Group Head Audit in managing periodic in-house risk-based internal audits, management audits, forensics, IT audits, internal projects, trainings, etc. across the organization. and to ensure compliance with the Groups policies, procedures, and global systems.

Responsibilities

• Policies & Procedures

i) To participate in the Groups internal audit function activities and develop global annual internal audit plans based on risk assessments & group internal audit requirements

ii) Assist in formulating and practicing sound internal audit processes and procedures

iii) Establish and communicate the scope and objectives for the audit to concerned members

iv) Manage and update the DOA of the respective units.

• Internal Audit Function

i) Conduct risk-based internal audits of business processes and systems

ii) To assess controls, operational efficiencies and compliance with selected policies, procedures and regulations including any special task/ projects

iii) Resolve audit challenges and develop modifications for suitable coverage and timelines

iv) Conduct audits to evaluate whether the policies and processes are designed and operated effectively and provide pragmatic recommendations

v) Perform and coordinate the IT audits

vi) Work with business leaders and process owners to ensure timely implementation of corrective action plan.

Preferred candidate profile

The candidate should be a qualified Chartered Accountant having 10-12 years experience in audit function in reputed organizations preferably manufacturing organization
