JOB DESCRIPTION
POSITION TITLE : Executive DEPARTMENT : Accounts & Finance SUB- DEPTT : Financial Planning & Data Analysis JOB TYPE : Full time / Contract Job Req ID : 1001 Job Summary:
The Business Analyst will play a critical role in analyzing business performance, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to optimize manufacturing operations and corporate decision-making. The role requires strong analytical skills, business acumen, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Performance Analysis:
- Collect, analyze, and interpret financial and operational data to assess business performance.
- Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards for tracking efficiency and productivity.
- Process Improvement & Optimization:
- Identify gaps in existing business processes and recommend improvements.
- Work with departments like production, supply chain, and finance to streamline operations.
- Financial & Budget Analysis:
- Assist in financial forecasting, budgeting, and cost analysis.
- Support investment decisions and cost-saving initiatives by providing relevant data.
- Data Management & Reporting:
- Develop business intelligence reports using Excel, or other analytical tools.
- Present insights and recommendations to senior management for strategic decision-making.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work closely with IT, production, and finance teams to ensure seamless data flow.
- Market & Industry Research:
- Conduct market analysis, competitive benchmarking, and industry trend evaluations.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in data analytics tools (Adv Excel, Power BI, etc.).
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and business workflows.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor s degree Finance, or Chemical Engineering /Master s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Engineering.
- 3-5 years of experience in business analysis, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) is a plus.
