Position Overview

Sr. Business Analyst- Planning and Inventory will be responsible for developing project plans, gathering business requirements, monitoring & analyzing inventory levels, identifying trends, and making recommendations to optimize inventory management. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure inventory accuracy and availability to meet customer demand.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Evaluating a business s operations to analyze their cost and efficiency
• Helping to develop project plans and ensuring their timely completion
• Analyzing an organizations large data sets to provide actionable insights
• Budgeting and conducting financial analysis
• Recommending process improvements to increase a business s efficiency
• Create reports and dashboards to help others understand business performance
• Responsible for managing inventory levels, identifying trends, and making recommendations to improve inventory management.
• Monitor inventory levels and identify trends
• Analyze inventory data to identify opportunities for improvement
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure inventory accuracy and availability
• Develop and maintain inventory reports and dashboards
• Place inventory orders, track shipments, and allocate inventory
• Recommend process changes or system enhancements
• streamline daily business operations looking for ways to cut costs, maximize sales, and increase profits
• Maintaining and improving the companys inventory situation by analyzing inventory statistics to determine which products are selling and which are not.
• Placing inventory orders and tracking shipments.
• Allocating inventory to the correct departments as it comes into the warehouse and arranging for pickups and shipments.
• Performing extensive research on a wide range of inventory-related reports, from previous inventory reports to national purchasing trends.
• Drafting inventory reports that document inventory counts, discrepancies, and other statistical data.
• Reporting inventory statistics to management and suggesting improvements to inventory control.
• Creating and maintaining inventory databases and systems for accurately managing inventory.

Qualifications and skills:

• 8+ years of professional experience with emphasis Business Analysis in Supply Chain, Operations, or Reporting & Analytics
• 5+ years experience in a Planning and inventory/ Supply Chain Systems Management
• 5+ years experience in JD Edwards or similar ERP in a management or data analyst capacity
• Bachelors degree in supply chain management, business administration, marketing, or a related field.
• Preferably looking for experience and background in Automotive/ Automobile industry or Similar.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Strong Experience with Data Analysis, databases, spreadsheets, Advance excel including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables and Formulas.
• Strong analytical, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, maths, and multi-tasking skills.
