About the Job
We are seeking a Process Improvement Analyst to join our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. A successful candidate will have a passion for driving operational efficiencies, improving financial processes, and utilizing Lean Six Sigma methodologies to deliver value. The ideal candidate will be analytical, results-oriented, and skilled in process optimization. As a key player in our FP&A team, you will help us streamline workflows, reduce waste, and improve the accuracy and efficiency of our department.
As a Process Improvement Analyst, You Will
Lead process improvement initiatives within the FP&A function, focusing on enhancing processes within our billing department to improve invoice timeliness and accuracy.
Utilize Lean Six Sigma principles to analyze, design, and implement process improvements aimed at reducing waste.
Conduct a thorough analysis of existing workflows, identifying bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for optimization.
Design and implement standardized process documentation, workflows, and best practices to improve the billing teams productivity and ensure consistency.
Collaborate with other departments and our clients for process improvements.
Develop and maintain reporting systems and dashboards to monitor the impact of process improvements, including tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and process efficiency metrics.
Drive a continuous improvement culture by educating and coaching team members on Lean Six Sigma methodologies and tools.
Provide recommendations to leadership for optimizing resource allocation.
Perform root cause analysis on variances from expectations and inefficiencies, proposing actionable solutions.
Support the integration of new technologies and tools to automate and enhance financial processes.
As Process Improvement Analyst, You Need
Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification (preferred).
Experience in process improvement, with a focus on financial operations.
Strong knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies, including DMAIC, value stream mapping, and Kaizen events.
Excellent analytical skills and the ability to identify and resolve inefficiencies within financial processes.
Experience with financial planning, forecasting, and reporting processes, ideally within an FP&A or finance team.
Advanced Excel skills with a strong understanding of data analysis and automation.
Proven ability to work collaboratively across departments and engage stakeholders at all levels.
Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present recommendations to senior leadership.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
