Structural Design Manager (RCC and Steel Building Structure)

Educational Criteria: M.Tech Civil / B.Tech. (Civil Engg.) with more than 10 years experience in structural designing of RCC and Steel Building structures.

Job Description: The candidate must have design experience in the following fields:

Basic understanding of the buildings with respect to Architecture, Structure and the services. He/she should be in a position to provide suitable structural solutions to fulfill the requirements of Architecture and Services. Adequate working knowledge of STAAD-Pro & E-TABS is necessary. Knowledge of any other specialized software is desirable.

Basic and detailed engineering of concrete / steel structures and foundations for machines and industrial buildings. Manual Design of building Structural components like Slab, Beam, Column, Staircases retaining walls.

Different foundations spread footing, combined, raft, piles and pile caps.

Adequate knowledge of Earthquake Engineering codes to be incorporated in the buildings.

Detailing of reinforcement for RCC members. Design and Detailing of structural steel members.

Adequate knowledge of Indian Standard codes. Knowledge of British/ Euro codes is desirable.

Residential, commercial, industrial and high rise buildings.

Should be capable of effectively communicating with draftsmen to give them enough input and checking the drawings prepared by them. Conducting peer review for the Design / Drawings prepared by other designers.
