Walid Baz. Located right inside the iconic Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, THE ZORA offers world-class
faciliꢁes, including luxury banquets, state-of-the-art event spaces, and high-end hospitality services.
We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Director of Sales to lead our sales and business
development efforts.
Role Overview
The Director of Sales will be responsible for driving revenue growth, building strategic partnerships,
and leading the sales efforts across various business verꢁcals of THE ZORA, including hotels,
banquets, and other hospitality services. This individual will play a criꢁcal role in posiꢁoning THE
ZORA as the premier desꢁnaꢁon for events, corporate gatherings, and lifestyle experiences. The role
requires extensive experience in hotel and hospitality sales, business development, and client
relaꢁonship management.
Key Responsibiliꢀes
1. Sales Leadership & Strategy
o
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets across all
business units.
o
o
Lead and manage the sales team to ensure opꢁmal performance.
Idenꢁfy and secure high-value partnerships and clients.
2. Business Development
o
Expand business opportuniꢁes across mulꢁple verꢁcals, including hotels, banquets,
events, and lifestyle services.
o
Foster relaꢁonships with key corporate clients, event planners, and hospitality
partners.
3. Client Engagement & Relaꢀonship Management
o
o
Ensure a high level of client saꢁsfacꢁon and build long-term relaꢁonships.
Act as a brand ambassador for THE ZORA, represenꢁng the organizaꢁon in client
meeꢁngs, industry events, and conferences.



4. Market Analysis & Compeꢀꢀve Intelligence
o
Monitor market trends, compeꢁtor acꢁviꢁes, and customer preferences to idenꢁfy
growth opportuniꢁes.
o
Provide insights and recommendaꢁons to the CEO on market posiꢁoning and
product offerings.
5. Reporꢀng & Stakeholder Communicaꢀon
o
o
Provide regular sales performance reports to the CEO.
Collaborate closely with markeꢁng, operaꢁons, and other departments to ensure
smooth execuꢁon of business plans.
Key Requirements
•
Experience: Minimum 10+ years of experience in sales and business development within the
hotel, banquet, or hospitality industry.

Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in leading sales teams, achieving revenue
targets, and driving business growth.

Leadership Skills: Strong ability to lead, moꢁvate, and manage a high-performing team.
Networking Ability: Excellent networking skills with a proven ability to build and maintain
relaꢁonships with high-value clients and partners.

Flexibility: Comfortable with frequent travel to the JLN campus and flexible work hours.
Communicaꢀon: Excellent wriꢂen and verbal communicaꢁon skills.
Locaꢀon: This is a Work from Office role with flexible hours, based out of THE ZORA Habitat
Center in JLN, Delhi.
